Ep.1 Hero RC
Goliath tribe gets to choose their strongest man and woman (John and Alison), and the Davids' weakest man and woman (Christian, Lyrsa) to compete. The Davids then get to pick which tasks each pair must perform in a multi-stage challenge. Stage 1: Balance. Davids select a beam over water for themselves, a plank bridge for Goliaths. Stage 2: Davids select net crawl for themselves, tube net for Goliaths. Stage 3: Brains/brawn. Davids select 8-piece slide puzzle for themselves, 15-piece block puzzle for Goliaths. Stage 4: First to crawl out on a pole and release the shelter-making kit wins it. Results: Roughly even through to the third stage, but Christian solves the slide puzzle in seconds, giving the Davids an insurmountable lead. Davids win.
| Day 2
As the entire Goliath tribe apparently searches for idols instead of building their shelter, Dan, Natalia and Kara are searching together when Dan notices a rock with purple string around it. He realizes it marks the Goliath idol, which he keeps (after sharing the news of his find with Kara and Natalia).
