Historical notes:
- Martin Holmes at InsideSurvivor (4/20/25): Announces that Day 1 of filming for Survivor 49 was Sunday, April 20, 2025, Fiji time. Based on the 47-48 filming dates, Survivor 50 should then start on roughly June 5th.
- Official CBS Survivor Instagram (6/6/25): Posts a selfie video from Jeff Probst describing the marooning and first challenge "today." Clearly filmed midday, but uploaded to Instagram early morning (~5 am) of the 7th, Fiji time, confirming the Friday, June 6th (local time) start date for filming.
