- Ep.4 RC: "New Tribe Member" - Tribes have to decorate a dummy, then carry it around the island. Unsurprisingly, Sook Jai builds an early lead, and it only gets bigger after that.
- Ep.4 reward: Sook Jai gets a large number of bananas, plus some chickens, whom Robb playfully threatens.
- Ep.4 IC: "Tan-dy Gram" - In a weird challenge only four can participate in, Sook Jai is also good at puzzles.
- Ep.4 Tribal: Ghandia voted out, 4-2, over Clay.
Episode 4 scoring notes
- The IC: Was there a third puzzle that wasn't shown? Bizarre to have six people officially compete in a challenge that at maximum can use four (two puzzles, each done by a distinct pair). If the editors removed one puzzle for time, that makes more sense.
- The gender divide: This episode was a good reminder that Brian Heidik is not, in fact, a nice person, as he calls Jan "Granny" in privates, and expounded on the Chuay Gahn women performing their "natural roles" (all the work around camp), while the men lazed around in the water, all in confessional. Also, even though she ultimately chose the side that made the best sense for her game (was the tiebreaker firemaking here?), surprisingly strong stuff from Helen and Jan here in backing Ghandia's story in confessional. Helen's felt the most important, because she separated her opinion from being personally irritated by the men's laziness.
Vote count:
- Ghandia received 4 votes, from Brian, Clay, Helen, and Ted (voted out, 4-2).
- Clay received 2 votes, from Ghandia and Jan.
