Performance ranks are a quick visual measure of the contestant's season vs. historical data from all prior contestants, in three basic (scorable) categories:
1. Performance in individual challenges (MPF), as a measure of "physical game";
2. Ability to vote people out consistently (VFB%, or VFB/TCA), or "strategic game"; and
3. Ability to avoid being voted against (rVAP, or TCA-VAP) - which scales better than a percentage would - for "social/strategic game."

Official M-Net Island of Secrets bio excerpts (May, 2019):
"Felix is another Survivor contestant known for going against the flow. Felix comes from a traditional Xhosa family, but attended an Afrikaans High School in Pretoria where he then got a rugby scholarship to Jeppe High School for Boys. Today, he is married to his Afrikaans high school sweetheart from Pretoria and in October 2018 they welcomed a baby boy. Felix is not only a good husband and father, but also a natural leader and talented sportsman who loves to make his dad, a military man, proud. While studying at the University of Technology in Pretoria, he played rugby for The Vikings and later he represented Old Selbournians in East London. Solid and in-control, Felix sees Survivor SA as the ultimate social experiment and is over the moon to be part of it."
Official SurvivorSA: Return of the Outcasts M-Net bio (6/5/22):
"A proud Xhosa man from a very traditional family, Felix Godlo is married with two children and is devoted to being a good father and role model.
A natural leader and great sportsperson, his mission in life is to succeed to provide for his family and make them proud of him.
Having been humbled by his early exit in his previous season, he did a lot of introspection and has grown personally. He feels that he had a strategy for the game but didn’t execute it because he wasn’t in the right state of mind to play the game. Suppressing his natural leadership instincts led to him growing frustrated and acting out of character – so this time he’s aiming to communicate better and working on connecting with his fellow castaways on a deeper level."
