Daddo: "They've been taken out of their comfort zone.
They've been dressed in period costume. They are put into
longboats, in the dark, and they have to row an hour at night
to a black pirate ship that's shrouded in smoke."
From
there, the preview shows Daddo introducing the cast to the
treasure they're trying to find. At some point after that,
they're split into two teams, and sent off in search of the
weekly loot. As mentioned in the TV Guide Channel preview,
the teams are randomly assigned each episode, so they're
not quite the same as Survivor tribes. Still, the winning
team gets to split that episode's loot amongst themselves,
so there is some value to knowing who's on what team. Also,
because the composition of the teams changes from episode
to episode, seeing different people together (also with different
colors) on an expedition proves they lasted past the first
(or future) episodes.
For the black team, we're assisted by CBS
press
photos, which show the black team on the first (daylight)
day of filming, rowing up a creek in their boat. This matches
a frequently used ad clip, which shows the other side of
the boat. So seven of the eight team members are clear: On
the port side, bow to stern, are Jupiter, Alexis, John and
Louie. On the starboard side, Cheryl and Ben are in front,
with Joe Don/J.D. behind them (mostly obscured). Kendra appears
to be manning the rudder, and is visible in other shots of
the black team.

That makes the initial red team: Azmyth,
Christian, Jay and Sean for the men, and Christa, Joy, Laurel
and Nessa for the women. All are visible in various vidcaps. (See
also the expedition shots).
