that if everyone is merge feasting, the producers won't
bother finding some way to punish someone with exile. So,
no exile for you! Unless they do, of course.
An
extravaganza of splashing/bamboo/carrying things is replaced
by 10 contestants trying not to move for an extended period
of time. Eventually, all but one do.
