Tocantins episode 12 detailed immunity challenge spoilers/
speculation |
Again,
in the web
promo, shots of both RC and IC were included. This one is
clearly the IC, since the second shot below (long shot of the
five contestants in their boxes) includes the necklace.
As mentioned, the challenge involves the contestants
standing in boxes. Yep, that's it. Until they slip/fall out out
and/or off of them. The "drama" inherent is palpable. Luckily,
Coach decides to "create some reality" by gnawing his own leg
off to escape Probst's incessant drivel, and hilarity ensues.
Presumably, after Coach dramatically exits
the challenge (and all "help" him to his seat) the challenge
resumes, because there's a shot of Coach and someone else (JT?)
sitting out, which appears to belong to this challenge sequence,
based on Coach's buff's position.

So who wins? Not Coach and his companion (who
is either JT or Stephen). That bodes well for Taj, Stephen/JT
and Erinn, none of whom did particularly well in the previous
endurance challenge. Although someone has to win. We're just
not sure who.
Updates: As CuriousGeorgeTown points
out at MeSS, when Coach is on the ground, all but Erinn are barefoot
(all are barefoot in the boxes), suggesting Erinn's already dropped
out of the challenge (frisky at
Blows has a similar observation about Erinn). CGT also
notes that Stephen's buff position matches the person sitting
next to Coach on the bench (last shot above). So that leaves
Taj and JT as possible winners (unless Coach collapses after
winning).
If you're concerned that your beloved
Coach might be pulled from the game at the IC site, as Joe was,
you can relax, because he's standing around in camp a couple
of hours later, in the press
photos.
So, uh, who wins? Still not sure. If the choice is between JT
and Taj winning an endurance competition, we'll guess JT.
