Between
the web promo and the weekend ads, a much clearer picture of
this challenge has emerged. First, shots from the NFL-specific
ad show the challenge itself, which is done in two teams of three
(yellow and purple, of course). Brett, Mick and Natalie on purple,
versus Russell, Jaison and Shambo on yellow.
It's not clear whether the arrival shot is
for the RC or the IC, since Brett (who would be wearing the necklace)
is hidden behind Jaison. But it might as well go here, we guess.
As for the challenge itself, it appears to require each side
to take turns pulling a rope out of a structure holding up a large
load of coconuts. Eventually, the remaining ropes no longer can
support the coconuts, and they all fall down. As appears to be
happening to Natalie in the NFL ad.

So who wins? As we noted,
the shots above of Brett, Mick and Natalie could be either while the reward winners
are away, or they could head off themselves. frisky at
Blows had a good theory that it's the latter, pointing out both footprints and
boat marks in the sand on the beach shot below (the whole thread is worth
reading for an excellent example of vidcap analysis), but this was overturned
by the web promo, which appears to show Russell and Jaison on the reward itself
(as picked up by several people in the MeSS thread). So Russell,
Jaison and Shambo win reward,
while Brett, Mick and Natalie stay
behind to plot.

Where could they have gone? A couple of possible
rewards (taking note of the returnees' swimsuits) could be
the To
Sua Ocean Trench or swimming with sea
turtles at Satoalepai
Wetlands. Russell and Jaison appear to be sleeping on actual
bedding, perhaps in one of Samoa's many beachside fales?
