Survivor: Samoa post-Episode 1 challenges shown in previews
Between the TV Guide Channel preview and a series of Russell H-centric TV ads, there have been numerous shots of either actual challenge footage, or props/sets for challenges not appearing in Episode 1. For the most part, we can't tell in which episode they'll be featured (although there's still time for a challenge board shot, CBS!), but we'll run through them here.

We assume there's some sort of game involved here, presumably moving objects of some kind toward a goal, while the other tribe tries to full-contactedly prevent you from doing so. This sort of challenge has been a recent favorite for the Ep2 RC, appearing in S15: China, S16: Micronesia, and S18: Tocantins. The shots above seem to be the oversaturated kinds favored by Scott Duncan in the intro, and those shots are generally from the first two episodes. So we'd expect this challenge to show up fairly soon.
Update: As noted by Kona at Sucks, the press photo of Probst, wading in the water, as probably being from this challenge. The photo was taken on day 7 of filming, which should be in Ep3. So this should be the Ep3 RC.

This one has absolutely no connection to Samoan culture, but it does derive from Survivor crew culture, so we'll give them a pass this time (video here of the crew - plus Jeff Probst - making shots). The crew version seems to mostly consist of tossing rugby balls into buckets, but it appears they've added a stadium and lots of rules for the Survivor contestant version.
This challenge was featured being played by dream teamers in the TV Guide Channel preview, and we'll let challenge chief John Kirhoffer explain it: "One of the rules we have is abrasions and scrapes are good, lacerations and contusions are bad. Schmergenball was created by the grips - a bunch of hardworking guys on the crew who were sitting around, drinking beer, and throwing balls into wastebaskets one day. And, uh, it just developed into something. It was so cool, Dan Munday and myself are standing there, watching everyone play schmergen, we've played on our own teams, and with Jeff, and we just said 'This has gotta be a challenge!' So we tweaked a couple of things to kind of slow down the pace a little bit, and added a brawl element."

These props are shown in the TV Guide Channel preview show, during the interviews with production designer Dan Munday and unit manager Paul Messer. Basically, we see parts from at least three challenges: (1) Large wicker balls, reminiscent of the S3 Ep3 RC Kelly Goldsmith Memorial Dungball (and last used in Gabon); (2) A tilting maze table, just like the one on which Coach won his one and only individual challenge, prompting his "dragonslayer" scream in Tocantins; and (3) the columns of white-and-black painted turning balls (jumbo-sized tic-tac-toe?). Not the most exciting batch, but there they are.
