Probst: "We
are off the coast of Panama, on a remote island that will
play a dramatic role in the lives of our 16 Survivors, over
the next 39 days. This is Exile Island [ominous music]. Each
week, at least one Survivor will be banished here. Separated
from their tribe, they'll have no idea what's going on back
at camp, and they'll be forced to live on their own, 'til
they return to the game."
TDT Analysis: Hardly a spoiler, but note
that the intro most likely ends with Probst standing
on the Exile Island skull, as the camera pulls back to
show the whole island. That sequence was included in
the preview segments, above.

No
major revelations in Probst's interview, but...
Probst: "Well, we wanted to do a switch in
Episode 2, so to get any impact, we had to bond them. And
we bonded them by doing older men, older women, younger
men, younger women, so that they would say, 'Okay, all
the young girls, we stay together the whole way, no matter
what.' Then in Episode 2, we switch them, to see what happens
to those bonds."
TDT Analysis: For what it's worth, Probst
also gave (at Harry Smith's prompting) familiar-sounding
bio blurbs on Bruce, Dan, Cirie and Tina. These were
identical to things he's said elsewhere, although he
did call Dan the palest contestant they've ever had.
