January 9, 2005	- Story from Jennifer's (native) hometown of The Dalles, Oregon: "Next 'Survivor' may be from The Dalles ...Lyon is the daughter of Jane and Lawrence Lyon of The Dalles. She graduated from The Dalles High School in 1990, according to the school’s 1990 Steelhead yearbook. Lyon also has an athletic background, lettering in soccer and track in 1990. She qualified for state in track in the 400 M relay and the 300 M hurdles, according to the yearbook. She was also voted “Most Outstanding” on her track team. January 4, 2005	- UltimateSurvivor5 releases an updated batch of collaborative info (and a picture) on Jenn/Jenny Lyon: "From Celebrity’s Nanny to Survivor? By: Amanda Davis ( amanda_davis_us5@yahoo.com) Contributors: biancaxxx, falconsfreak, Survivor Fever, teneleven, ultimatesurvivor5 Jennifer Lyon, the eighteenth contestant to be revealed on Survivor News’ Contestant Confirmator, appears to have been located. New information received and researched indicates that she is a "gorgeous blonde" from California. Jennifer, "Jenny" as she is apparently known, is 32 years-old. "Someone as pretty as Jenn would probably be in California even if she wasn't from there," said an anonymous source, and as it turns out, she is from California, most likely Los Angeles, even though she is originally from The Dalles, Oregon. If correctly identified, this makes Lyon the third Los Angeles contestant on Survivor: Palau, along with models Ashlee Ashby and Bobby Drinkard.
