As
made clear at the S15 finale (and in the logo), the initial tribe
composition for Survivor: Micronesia will be "Fans vs. Favorites."
So, two tribes, one with returning players, one with newbies. We
barely paid attention to the spoiling of the "favorites" tribe,
but it was largely spoiled in the "Half-ASS
roster" thread at
Sucks (patiently curated by Antithesys). The "fans" tribe was
for the most part spoiled by SurvivorFever,
with additional spoils from Sucks and SurvivorSkills. See

more accurate links. The contestants:

As for the tribe colors, SurvivorFever reports
they are orange for the "fans" tribe and purple for the "favorites". That
seems to fit with the shots from the post-S15 finale preview.
An orange tribe is featured in one of the challenge shots (breaking
a tile). And both Mikey B and Tracy (both new contestants)
were shown wearing what appear to be orange-colored buffs (below).
Evidence for the other tribe's color: in the wrestling
shot, a flash of purple appears to be visible trailing a contestant
(sash? buff?) in the background (vidcap below).
Updates: Cast shots show
both tribes wearing their respective buff colors (as spoiled
by SFever). Also (as pointed out by MayanSun at Sucks), Palauan
film company Roll
'Em Productions has an interesting page
set up, dedicated to their work on
Survivor: Micronesia. They feaure several shots of
challenge props, the
exile
island map, the hidden
idol rules, and some challenge detritus that contains the
tribe names: Malakal for the returning players, Airai for
the newbies.
