CBS swears there
is indeed a reward challenge this week: "After a fall
during the Reward Challenge, one Survivor struggles to catch
their breath, causing an emergency visit from the medical
team. Can they overcome this unfortunate situation or will
they be forced to leave the game?"
The struggling person in question is, as
previously spoiled by SurvivorPhoenix and The4Kingdoms,
Gary. Is he done for? He might be: The4Kingdoms
initially put his departure date as in episode 4, and SurvivorPhoenix
was in agreement, although recent updates (pre-Ep2) suggested
Gary might leave as soon as this episode. Well gang, looks
like we have a mystery on our hands.
But anyway, there is a challenge, yes. Thanks to Anywho at
MeSS, who provided official CBS press photos of the challenge,
we learn the challenge is called "Slip, Slide & Score." And
yes, that's a giant Slip 'n Slide. Gary
is indeed competing (Lisi is sitting out), and we could see
how Gary's age and girth may not combine for ideal Slip 'n
Sliding conditions.
The "scoring" part of the challenge appears to
come from the purple numbered flags the contestants are sliding
under, each of which appears to have (at least) two balls
with "scores" on them (20 and 10 in the Rocky shot). Liliana
is shown grabbing one of them as she slides under. Guess
this is what counts as a water challenge when you're on an
island surrounded by sea snakes.

Who wins? Someone. Well, the web
promo shows a happy Moto
tribe returning to camp after a challenge, carrying a bunch
of crap
(above). And since the IC winners are generally not heard
from again after their win, seems like a reasonable guess
that Moto wins again.
The only other major change would appear to be the coupling
of the exile with the RC, which might have happened sooner,
had there been an RC before this. We assume immunity still
carries the luxury camp with it, especially since there's
a big pile o' prizes visible on the sidelines of the RC (in
the press
photos). Not
that it really matters yet, since Ravu can't seem to win
a single challenge.
