One
or more tribes will get to face the grinning jester to
your right.
Who will it be? Actually, just one tribe, Rarotonga (although,
since they're booting jurors now, you'd think, if it were
fair, Aitutaki ought to be able to watch the excitement...
but Survivor isn't really about fair). Either
way, this should be the final double-boot episode (although
they'll be axing four people in the finale).
Who do they boot? Well, this is where the "Asians do well
at the beginning, but then get picked off" story starts to
make sense. Jenny will follow Brad onto
the jury bench, making the two people unlucky enough to have
been from the original Puka Puka tribe among the immediate
targets of the newly reconstituted alliance of the four original
Rarotonga players left (however tenuously Jonathan is a part
of that). Although, since Yul and Becky last until the finale,
the "Asians get picked off" story obviously craps out after
this episode.
Who's the other Rarotonga boot? Not a white player, and probably
not Parvati's boyfriend, Nate. That should narrow it down.
How does it happen? From the CBS press
release: "After losing
the Immunity Challenge, the defeated tribe is handed a sealed
bottle containing a message that will be read at Tribal Council
after they have sent someone home." Our
guess is that the person with the second-most votes finds
out after the fact that they're out, too. So long, Rebecca.
Of course, we don't really have any info to indicate that
these two boots aren't done in the reverse order. But we
like this story, so we'll stick with it.
