Cook Islands episode 2 detailed RC spoilers/ speculation |
Since
CBS is being stingy with the commercials this week, there's
not much to go on here. We presume they will find a way to
fit both a reward and immunity challenge into this week's
episode, but there's not really any clear evidence of that. Not
yet, anyway.
The Saturday picture-in-picture ad (and a later
Monday full-screen one) did feature a shot of cheering Rarotonga
women. It's not from the obstacle challenge (Candice is dressed
differently). Could they be greeting Jonathan's return to
camp? Maybe. They are facing the beach when they cheer. Alternatively, maybe Survivor exhumed
the lame "distress
signal" challenge already. We'd hope they
hadn't run out of ideas this early into the show, but you
never know.
Then there's also the issue of the chickens:
Also in the picture-in-picture ad, somebody
traps two chickens under a box. We'd guess that's probably
the Rarotonga tribe, since the CBS press release (at Celebrity
Spider) states "Tension mounts between Jonathan and Adam
when Adam refuses to waste his energy on what he sees as
a 'stupid' task."
And it would make sense for Jonathan to succeed, proving
that Adam doesn't know "stupid."
Speaking of chicken, though, there's also
a shot of Billy from Aitutaki eating chicken. It's possible
Aitutaki did the successful chicken trapping. Or they could
have won chicken in the reward challenge. Although we have
heard that Billy tried to use the Hawaiian sling to hunt
chickens (and failed). Maybe someone else on the tribe was
successful. Maybe Rarotonga traps two, and Aitutaki wins
one (or more) in some unseen challenge? Confusing.
