Not
much to go on here until CBS gets around to slapping a commercial
(or web promo) together, although they do offer this marginal
tidbit of misdirection: "At the Reward Challenge, the Survivors
are left stunned when one of them reveals some shocking news
to the group."
We're pretty sure that this will be Yul telling
the group that he's actually a Terminator-800 model, sent
back to our time to save us, or at least John Connor, from
evil destructive Skynet robots. Sadly, the price of this
favor is that we must watch reality TV.
Update: After a
full four-day weekend, CBS managed to air 10 seconds of ad.
Bravo! (Just kidding CBS, we care about this far, far less
than you, trust us). From this, it's clear the "Reward challenge"
is actually the time-honored (read: heavily recycled) "Food
Auction." In which the contestants use (SEG-provided) wads
of real U.S. currency to pay outrageous prices for food,
bedding, letters from home, and other such items. So there's
no winner. Although you may well ask, as does birdlady at
MeSS, how they get an exile out of this. Does someone place
a winning bid on a "mystery" item and get exiled? Does someone
buy the chance to exile someone else? Or do they just wait
until the IC to exile someone?
Well, that's about what passes for
suspense this week.
