Completing
the fake ship theme, the losing tribe will attend tribal
council... in another fake ship (at right). Proving the ancient
adage, "If you're going to whip up some cheap controversy
with a tacky casting stunt, you'd better have a lot of fake
ships on hand." (We believe that was originally from
Shakespeare).
So anyway, the boot.... Who will it be?
With 20 contestants, can they afford the luxury of a single
boot? We'll go with Darnell1980's advice: one
boot, from the Manihiki tribe.
Beyond that, we have no idea who it could be. We don't think
it's Nate or Sundra, but any of the remaining tribemembers
could go. Sekou is at a 3-2 disadvantage
if the tribe splits along gender lines, does not appear to
be as strapping as Nate, and is the eldest person on his
tribe. He's also the person Darnell1980 has selected as the
most likely first boot. But Sekou was also selected by Jeff
Probst as a potential leader. We don't think it's Sekou yet,
but we could be wrong.
But we've also heard that it could be Rebecca. She
seems the least likely woman to contribute physically,
and our source suggests she helps lose the first challenge
for Manihiki. The only other choice is Stephannie, who we
also don't think gets very far. But we'll go with Rebecca for the initial departure.
