TVGuide online
August 20 , 2007: Jeff Probst's comments (made sometime during the game), as told to Ileane Rudolph of TV Guide, in their barely pre-cast reveal article:

"Jeff's take: Sherea is a fish out of water here, but she's a fighter. She is another person who will tell you what she's thinking. Sherea and a few others made me see the beauty and power of announcing who you are and being that person, because that makes you identifiable."

August 20, 2007: Officially revealed as a Survivor: China contestant by CBS, as the cast is unceremoniously dumped onto the CBS web site.
From her official CBS bio:

"Sherea Lloyd was born in Pontiac, Michigan. Her family moved around a lot, as she spent her early years living in Maryland, middle school in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and high school in Dallas, Texas. She received her undergraduate degree from Florida A & M University and her master's degree from Florida State University.
Lloyd has a twin sister, Maria, who currently attends Howard University Law School. She is currently a fourth grade elementary teacher. She describes herself as sassy, outspoken and caring. She enjoys dancing, working with children and watching football and basketball. She believes she will do well on Survivor because she considers herself competitive, outgoing and a leader. She believes in her ability to overcome her fears; when her mother had breast cancer (she is now fine) it proved to be a true test of her own abilities to overcome adversity.
Lloyd is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
Lloyd currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia. Her birth date is July 31, 1981."

With a quick follow-up post by smokeitgood, with the following info from Sherea's Facebook profile, along with a bevy of pictures:
"- Graduated FSU in '05; majored in Elem. Ed.
- Graduated Skyline High School in '99
- Born July 31, 1981 and originally from Dallas
- Member of Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority
- Friends commented on her wall about missing her/didn't know she'd be gone long including this from a friend on June 14: 'I know when your birthday is you do not have to remind me! China?? For what? This Sat? How have you been?'
- Also, she has a sister that's the same age (probably a twin lol) named Maria who is a Howard Grad Student in DC. She walked for her mom being a two year breast cancer survivor in May. The myspace photo is from around March 2006 by the way - I think the most recent one is the one that's before the classroom picture."
