August 20 , 2007: Jeff Probst's comments
(made sometime during the game), as told to Ileane Rudolph
of TV Guide, in their barely pre-cast reveal article:
"Jeff's take: Historically, Peih-Gee's
qualities don't bode well. She's quick with an opinion and
she's got a lot of them. But Peih-Gee
is a player — she's
smart and knows how to work with people even though she may
have no idea what they're saying behind her back. She understands
you can be bossy and make it work."

August 20, 2007: Officially revealed as a Survivor:
China contestant by CBS, as the cast is unceremoniously
dumped onto the CBS web site. From her official
CBS bio:
"Peih-Gee Law was born in Hong Kong and moved to Los
Angeles at a very young age. She attended an all-girl
Catholic high school, from which she graduated with a
4.0 GPA (she also received an almost perfect score on
her verbal SATs, 780 / 800). She attended the University
of California, Los Angeles, but got kicked out for low
grades (partying got in the way). A former dancer, she
appeared in music videos for Daft Punk, Crystal Method,
Madonna, Janet Jackson and Maxwell. She also appeared
in the 1998 MTV Music Awards as a back-up dancer for
Madonna's performance of "Ray of Light." Although
she did this while still in college, she never wanted
to pursue it as a career. She was reinstated to UCLA
after attending junior college and eventually earned
her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature.
After
graduation, Law moved to England to set up an import/export
company for her aunt and uncle. She eventually moved
back to the US and now works for her parents' jewelry
business, basically running the operation: everything
from designing, manufacturing, appraisals, sales and
accounting. She is currently working on launching her
own jewelry line.
Law is no stranger to travel. She spent
two months backpacking in Southeast Asia. She spent two
weeks on an island in Malaysia living in a hut with no
running water or electricity and went scuba diving every
day. She also trekked through the Northeastern part of
Thailand.
Law enjoys snowboarding,
scuba diving and dancing. She is a voracious reader,
loves organizing board game night and playing video games.
She considers travel and adventure to be necessities
in life. She describes herself as free-spirited, witty,
spunky, assertive, optimistic and open-minded. She is
outspoken and strong-willed, with a tendency to think
like a guy. She considers her biggest strength to be
having a good attitude, seeing the brighter side of things
and having the ability to focus all her will on the task
at hand. Law is a member of Jewelry Importers & Manufacturers
Association.
Law currently resides in Marina Del Rey,
California, with her two cats, Butter (short for Butterface)
and Sugar. Her birth date is April 7, 1978."

| Peih-Gee's Friendster bio |
June,
2003: Peih-Gee lists the following about herself on
her Friendster profile (note that it also lists her companies
as "Headblade", a company that makes razors specifically designed
for shaving heads, and "Lo Rador", which is a Los Angeles gem
store). From that combo we'd guess she works in either sales
or marketing.
"College/University: University
of California - Los Angeles, Attended 1997 - 2000, Class
of 2001, Bachelor's Degree, English lit
Occupation: Conquering the world, one country
at a time
Hobbies and Interests: reading, dancing, traveling,
movies, drinking, everquest, going out to bars, piercings,
smoking, eating, blowing my wad, playing board games (Taboo,
Cranium, Trivial Pursuit, Boggle) PC gaming, blowing someone
else's wad, going to Vegas, gambling
About Me: I've been described as stand-offish,
but only by people that didn't pass my standards for Are
You an Interesting Person. I seem to have a dual outlook
on life, with one part of me that wants to travel the world
rooting around in other cultures, grub in the dirt and go
diving, harassing x-mas tree worms in coral. The other part
of me is pretty shallow and enjoys boozing it up with good
looking strangers. And maybe I dont' know what dual means,
because apparently there's other parts of me that likes to
walk around with my nose in a book, or on the computer, or
recruiting people for board game night. That's the part that's
been nicknamed "EverDork" by
those who love me.
When most people are asked
to describe themselves with one word, they usually give some
answer like "who
can describe themselves with just one word? i'm too complex".
That, my friend, is simply a cop out for those with a limited
vocabulary. Go ahead, I dare you to ask me to describe myself
with one word. VIVACIOUS I'm a happy person. I think life
really is beautiful, and while I may not love each one of
YOU indiscriminatly, I can still appreciate the fact that
everyone adds their flavor to the mix of humanity. Humans
are wierd creatures, and I don't think I can ever spend enough
time being amazed and amused at what you can observe just
sitting on a busy street."
