Since
the tribes should now have merged, this should
finally be an individual affair, complete with the ceremonial
unveiling (and bestowing) of the necklace. Possibly with a challenge
intervening.
More details should be evident once previews and/or ads start
to air.
Following tradition, the first individual
immunity challenge should be an endurance challenge. As expected,
Sucks poster blackwhale has
a story that claims exactly this:
"Someone asked about Candice in the totem pole challenge
where you wrap your arms and legs around. She did well, and gave
Parvati a run for her money, but Parvati still won. This is the
first challenge after the merge. JT did pretty well too."
Vidcaps bear out the challenge I.D. part of
blackwhale's story, at least. The challenge is "Get a Grip,"
the Ep7
IC from
Tocantins merge episode, previously known as "Mast
Cling On" from the Ep10
IC in Cook
Islands. (As pointed out at MeSS,
it was also "Get a Grip" in Vanuatu, as the Ep10
IC, which is largely irrelevant, since nobody from Vanuatu was
deemed sufficiently villainous or heroic to be put on this season).
So JT, Candice and Parvati have all done this before, and Candice
did well (two hours, narrowly losing to Ozzy) the first time.

So
who wins? From the
boot, we'd guess J.T.
does not win. Also, Sucks poster blackwhale claims
that "Initially
the boot target [at the merge] is Parvati until she wins immunity." So
there's that (which seems fairly plausible).
